3 Keys to Quarantining Well:
No. 1
Faith
Whether it be through media, news, or word of mouth, much is being said about fear, trusting God, and uncertainty during our current world wide pandemic. However, as Christians, hope and trust in God can only happen when we are pursuing God on all levels, intimately. You cannot attain victory over fear, anxiety, or worry if you are simply seeking to be released from them instead of pursuing God entirely. Knowing God intimately is the solution to fear.

No. 2
Routine
The lack of school, work, and local church gathering can leave families feeling apathetic and stuck. As days begin to blur together and the to-do list shrinks, the need for routine becomes all the more necessary. Through the means of providing structure and routine not only in our own lives, but in the lives of teens will we begin to see our days form purpose and meaning. And while we may not admit it... we need structure.

No. 3
Creativity
There is something truly unique and special about putting technology aside and creating together. Creativity fosters connection as families come together. Connection fosters memories. Both are important tools in the family toolkit and when used in tandem create long lasting impacts. Try to do so without screens or electronics involved. Read more. Craft more. Laugh more. Resort back to the days when technology was not so prominent.

You Are Not Alone.
In the midst of a worldwide pandemic it can become very easy to slip into feelings of isolation. As culture has developed and shifted over the years it seems as though we have begun to prioritize: individualism over community, material over relational, and digital over physical. Perhaps, through this pandemic though, the Lord is trying to teach us something. Maybe, just maybe, the Lord is trying to push us to something greater. To community. To our families. To the physical over digital. And most importantly... to the Only One Who can mend our weary souls. So Jesus says, "come to me all who are weary and heavy laden, and I will give you rest." In this time of isolation and confusion, you are not alone. You are seen by the One who can carry your burdened and weary soul, and the One who gives life and life abundantly.
